11.01.2022 Big Announcement. Pallets of bottled water for the NSW Bushfire Relief. This all started because Wynnum Haulage at Hemmant Qld generously started accepting donations and are transporting container loads of donated goods to go to the NSW bushfire relief. When they put a call out for bottled water it got me thinking and with one phone call to the Martin family from Mount Warning Beverage Company they had kindly donated six pallets of bottled water. ... They also agreed to supply pallets of water at a heavily reduced price of $500 per pallet. Within 48 hours we have had another 16 pallets donated by local businesses. All transport costs have been donated. Shoobridge Transport have kindly agreed to transport the pallets to Murwillumbah. From there Box Freight will deliver them to Wynnum Haulage for packing into containers which will then be filled up with assorted essentials and transported by Wynnum Haulage directly to whichever region in NSW needs them the most. I am still overwhelmed with the response from local businesses and the difference you can make with a few phone calls when everyone is so willing to help. I would like to thank the following local businesses for their kindhearted and generous donations. 08.01.2022 Update. We have had a total of 42 pallets of bottled water donated to the NSW Bushfire Relief in just seven days. Proudly transported by Box Freight, Shoobridge Transport and Wynnum Haulage who will take the next three 40’ containers down south tomorrow. Special mention to Currumbin Coolangatta Tweed Rotary Club who have donated ten pallets and The Mount Warning Beverage Co who have now donated a total of 15 pallets.
