24.01.2022 ***Plant of the Month*** Our Plant of the Month for September is Adenanthos sericeus commonly known as the Albany Woolly Bush. It is medium to large shrub with soft, narrow, grey green leaves. Tubular orange-red flowers appear over a long period which attract nectar feeding birds. Grow in a sunny to partly shaded position in well drained soil. Tolerant of lime. Can be hedged. Grows to around 2-6m high. Let us know if you like this plant for a chance to win one for your garden

19.01.2022 ***Plant of the Month*** Our Plant of the Month for August is the Anigozanthos Bush Inferno. This compact and bushy Kangaroo Paw produces masses of bright red flowers over a long period from Winter through to Spring. This plant will grow best in a well drained sunny position in the garden, is bird attracting and makes a great cut flower. It is drought hardy and will also tolerate light frost. Grows to around 60cm high x 45cm wide. Let us know if you like this plant for a chance to win one for your garden

18.01.2022 Callistemons are great hardy shrubs useful for windbreaks and screen plantings or as a single specimen in your garden. They tolerate wet or dry conditions, will grow in most soils and have stunning red bottlebrush flowers. Still available in seedlings are the Callistemon viminalis, Callistemon phoeniceus and the Callistemon glauca.

16.01.2022 ***Plant of the Month*** Our Plant of the Month for November is the stunning Grevillea stenomera red commonly known as the Lace Net Grevillea. This is a beautiful small to medium shrub with finely cut greyish green leaves, growing around 1 -1.5 metres tall. It has masses of red flowers in Winter and Spring which attract native wildlife, bees, nectar feeding birds and butterflies. This tough native shrub will thrive in most well drained gardens and will tolerate drought and frost. Please comment and let us know why you would like one of these stunning plants in your garden for a chance to win.

15.01.2022 We have some Conostylis seedlings available now...both the Conostylis aculeata known as Prickly Conostylis or the Conostylis candicans also known as Grey Cottonheads. Perfect strappy plants to use as a border or in a pot. Very low maintenance and will add a touch of colour to a dull spot. Endemic to the South West of W.A. Add a few to your garden and you will have flowers from late Winter through to Summer.

15.01.2022 Need a white flowering climber? ...Mandevilla Aloha White... Will climb on a fence or trellis or if pruned looks great as a shrub. Will have pretty white long lasting flowers with yellow throats in the warmer months and will grow in full sun or part shade in a well drained soil. Mandevillas have lush green foliage and are easy to maintain. Give them a feed in Spring and they will put on a great floral display for Summer

12.01.2022 Dont these Diascia Aurora Dark Pink look pretty? Diascia have an upright habit with triangular flower spikes with height to 30cm. It is long flowering and can be grown in the garden as a border or in pots or hanging baskets. Dark Pink looks fantastic when mass planted.

11.01.2022 We have some great looking Advanced Deciduous trees like Snow Pears, Manchurian Pears, Trident Maples, Flowering Plums and Silver Birch. If you need an ornamental tree for your garden then this is the way to go as they are already a decent size, will give some great shade in the Summer and will provide a spectacular show of colour in the Autumn.

06.01.2022 Hosta Blue Mouse Ears is a miniature Hosta with blue green foliage. It will grow in a clump 30-40 cm tall and has blue lavender spike flowers in Summer. Brightens up a shady spot or else grows nice in a pot.

02.01.2022 ***Plant of the Month*** Our Plant of the Month for October is the Hibbertia racemosa Grey Leaf Form commonly known as the Stalked Guinea Flower. This is an ornamental compact shrub with grey green lance shaped foliage and has abundant yellow flowers in Winter and Spring. Hibbertia racemosa Grey Leaf will grow to 50cm tall and will do well in full sun or part shade. It tolerates limestone and does well as a container plant.
