24.01.2022 Our FB has been down for the last three weeks. The hotel is now open for restaurant, bars and bottle shop with our usual trading hours. Mon and Tues, 8.30am to midnight, Wed to Sat, 8.30am to 3am and Sun 10am to midnight. There are COVID-19 restrictions with social spacing and numbers. These restrictions are not unreasonable and we are so happy to see your faces again. Many have a story to tell and it has been a very interesting journey. If you wish to eat in the restaurant then it would be a good idea to make a booking as our seating capacity is very limited. Hope to see you soon :)

24.01.2022 We are open 7 days, Mon & Tues: 8.30am to midnight, Wed to Sat 8.30am to 3am and Sun 10am to midnight. Bottleshop, bars and restaurant. The COVID-19 restrictions are not difficult, just be aware that we need your name and phone number on arrival, you need to be seated and must maintain the 1.5mt social distancing rule, our staff can guide you through the rules of COVID-19. Hand sanitiser is provided at many areas of the hotel and we encourage the use of it and also regular washing of hands. You can still enjoy yourselves as if prior to COVID-19. The beer is fresh, cold and tasty, the food good and the hotel is warm and clean.

24.01.2022 Boyles Sutherland Hotel COVID-19 Restrictions Conditions of Entry. Every person, staff, patrons, service people must be registered when they enter, we need full name, and a phone number or email. All patrons must be seated other than ordering drinks, food or using the bathroom. You cannot stand and drink. Patrons cannot mingle with other tables.... Exiting the hotel is via the Old Princes Highway bar Door. Max on one table is 10 people of one group. Max bookings are 10 people. There is one chair/stool allocated to the entitled capacity of that particular room. You must not move chairs/stools from one room to another. Other than the table you are at, physical distancing of 1.5mt must be adhered to. Hotel staff reserves the right to refuse entry. Any direction given by hotel staff must be obeyed. Patrons are encouraged to use hand sanitizer located at serving points and to use the hand washing facilities in the toilets. If any person who feels unwell then they should inform staff, leave the hotel, isolate and seek medical advice. See more

23.01.2022 Just had the hotel fumigated with Thirty Days of Germ Defence, lasts for 30 days then I will do it again. Completely harmless to humans but deadly to COVID-19.

22.01.2022 If things get anything like Victoria then I will be a step ahead, I have these guys, I think they call themselves COVID BUSTERS (or something like that) who I will let loose in the hotel to keep things safe. Apparently, they have a knack of getting rid of some really bad things and COVID-19 will be just like a stroll in the Sutherland Peace Park. You wont even know they are there.

22.01.2022 Guinness is back on tap, what more can I say, COVID-19 must now be behind us, its all over YAY! :)

21.01.2022 Call us now for your fathers day booking, the restaurant is open from 12 midday to 8.30 pm so you can book anytime. We have all those fathers day type meals like Guinness pot pies, bangers and mash, lamb shanks, ribs and steaks...also those fathers style drinks in the bar like Guinness, Tooheys Old, aged scotches, ciders, cloudy beers, premium bold red wines etc.

12.01.2022 Balter XPA on tap , $7 schooner. TASTING NOTE Balter XPA might be pale but there's nothing weak about this bad boy. Tropical and floral aromatics set off a fruity palate that will punch your taste buds in the pleasure zone. Finished with a refreshing bitterness the XPA is tailored for those who enjoy a fully-hopped beer that's still easy to drink.

09.01.2022 Restaurant opening this Wednesday, 2 hour slots, need to book, call us on 9521 2315 from 8am to 10pm. As we can only have 10 people at any one time we have had to make a few changes, the menu has most of the meals that were on from before when this disaster struck. We will have sanitiser on hand, you can buy drinks from the bar as per normal, order food as per normal. The restriction states that you must order a meal. Other than all that just plain common sense applies with all hygiene practices. Hope to see you soon :)

06.01.2022 Tap beer is slowly trickling through, sometimes your favourite will not be there, the breweries are struggling trying to make beer and then re stock all the pubs and clubs. I do have the major brands VB, Carlton, New, Dry and the Coopers range being delivered in small numbers, its just the other fancy stuff that's slow. Just difficult times What can I say, beer might now be the new currency.
