25.01.2022 2022 Kindy enrolment opens soon

25.01.2022 This term we will be focusing our playgroup sessions on CHANGE as I'm sure our children are noticing changes in their own lives lately. Our craft activity tomorrow will be the metamorphosis of the very hungry caterpillar, with take home story telling puppets. Please check the earlier post with Covid safely expectations. Hope to see you tomorrow.

21.01.2022 YAY! Boyne School Playgroup starts up again this Friday! We are Covid-19 safe and by attending our group session, you will need all your answer to these questions = NO. In the last 14 days, have you or anyone in your family/household travelled overseas? In the last 14 days, have you or anyone in your family/household been in contact with anyone who has travelled overseas OR who has tested positive for COVID-19 OR is currently being tested or awaiting test results?... Are you or anyone in your family/household currently unwell? Please remember to wash your hands on arrival into the school grounds. Bring your own snack and water bottles. Follow the Covid-19 safety rules. Tell your friends about our group and be ready to HAVE FUN!

21.01.2022 Take 2. We've change to MONDAYS this year. First session 19th April. Week 2&3 are off due to public holidays. Plenty of fun from 10th May.

19.01.2022 Wet weather doesn't stop our fun at playgroup! Today we read 2 books (Yoo-Hoo, Ladybird! & The Duckling Gets A Cookie), then crafted our own Pigeons and Ducklings to eat cookies and a Ladybird hiding in a car. After morning tea we had a dance party and played in the Preps gingerbread house.

18.01.2022 First day back! Heaps of fun making hand print posies and bead bracelets before adventuring in the playground. When visiting the Prep classroom we heard "We're going on a bear hunt" and made bear ears with our Prep buddies.

16.01.2022 All things going to plan ... we could be starting back Term 3 Yay!

13.01.2022 We all had such a great morning at playgroup today! Lovely to see new members joining us, as well as returning families. A lot of fun on the playground and with the parachute. We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and made a puppet show to tell everyone about the life cycle of a butterfly. Back again next Friday 9am .. come along and join in the fun!

13.01.2022 Friday playgroup was all boys! So much fun being active and playing in the playground together. Lots of climbing and monkeying around, plus games and treasure hunting. New members welcome. Bring a friend and join our fun!

13.01.2022 Busy morning at playgroup! Lots of activities in the undercover area. Energetic kids in the playground. Pre prep craft making unicorn masks. A moment of creature hunting for our pre kindy friends and group games for all.

10.01.2022 Delightful morning at playgroup! We had fun on the playground, playing group games and doing a bit of craft. More friends joined us and still room if you're keen to come along. Next term we change to Wednesday mornings. Still Fridays 9-11 this term.

08.01.2022 Playgroup had it's final morning for the year. We've had so much fun this term. Our pre prep families are ready for transition into school life. It's been another successful year for those involved with our program. Huge thanks to Mrs Davis and Miss Roseworne for their support! Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday. See you again next year .. after Easter.

06.01.2022 Last Wednesday at playgroup .. Sensory activities, collage with feathers, and playground antics. Then we joined Prep R for transition practice. Great morning!

Are you or anyone in your family/household currently unwell?... During Term 4, at 10:30am, our Pre-Prep children will be joining a Prep class for activities. Parents are not permitted into the classroom and will need to remain socially distant from the teachers and students. Some of the school activities will be in the under-covered area for parents to assist with, however, all of the Playgroup activities require parent involvement. Please remember to wash your hands on arrival into the school grounds. Bring your own snack and water bottles. Follow the Covid-19 safety rules. Tell your friends about our group and be ready to HAVE FUN!

04.01.2022 Boyne School Playgroup is cancelled until further notice. Play at home instead.

04.01.2022 Today at playgroup we made Father's Day cards and craft, played on the playground and giggled like crazy during group games. No playgroup next Friday due to pupil free day. See you all again Friday 11th September.

03.01.2022 Hungry Caterpillar craft again today. We made very cute bead caterpillars and coloured wings for peg butterflies. Also made some adorable hats. Lots of fun happened in the playground. Lovely little group!

03.01.2022 Windy days need colourful pinwheels! Lovely morning playing in the playground, with the parachute and group games. Next Friday is our last session for term 3.
