04.01.2022 **BREAD TAGS** are an item that can be recycled by dropping them into the Boyup Brook CRC Recycling Hub! They are made of Type 6 plastic that can be recycled into brand new products... HOWEVER because they are so small they need specialist recycling equipment to give them a new life. Through organisation Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs, the tags are recycled locally, raising funds to buy wheelchairs for disadvantaged people in South Africa So far at the CRC we have col...lected 2.2kg of bread tags which is about 2200 tags. To raise enough to fund 1 wheelchair we need to collect about 200kg!
