25.01.2022 http://Our Young Leaders Doing Us Proud// Last term our G6 student leaders attended a youth leadership conference in Melbourne. The program consisted of inspirational speakers and interactive activities designed to help students explore what it means to lead yourself and others. Our students particularly enjoyed listening to speaker, author and illustrator Matt Cosgrove, and also scientist Josh Richards who has been shortlisted for a Mission to Mars in 2031. Well done you guys!

Camps are a great experience for the students, learning things from pizza making, to the stars at night whilst they were on a night beach walk. A huge thank-you must go to our dedicated teachers and those parents who took their own time to give the Grade 3s such a great experience!... Thank you!

19.01.2022 Welcome back everyone! We hope youve had a restful break and are ready for all that Term 2 brings; camps, incursions, fundraisers and other fun activities... as well as school work, of course!

19.01.2022 Last Friday, 571 students along with their teachers took to the stadium and put on a performance that they had been practising all week. DANCEMOB is high energy dance routines injecting fun into fitness.. And the fun that they injected into our students showed on their faces as they danced both in class groups and then the whole school! A huge thank you to our teachers who encouraged and assisted the kids to participate.. Due to poor weather forecast for this Friday we are moving MINI MUDDER to //Monday 11 December// We want to ensure all children can quickly get dry and warm after completing the mini mudder course. 10.01.2022 We're all very excited about this...!

10.01.2022 Last Monday our School Councillors donned their hard hats and took a tour of the new school. The tour was fantastic. It highlighted the enormous size of the school and the wonderful facilities that will be available to students, staff, parents and the community. The location also provides great views across the enormous football oval to Bruces Creek that can be enjoyed from many vantage points including the comfort of some classrooms. The incredibly high ceilings in some p...laces adds to the sense of space. The adaptable learning areas have been well designed and are not like giant open plan classrooms at all, but more adaptable spaces for a variety of learning environments, internal walls show the defined spaces and glass sliding doors provide adaptability for most spaces. The stadium is about to have the flooring installed and looks amazing and the acoustics were incredible throughout the entire facility, no echo at all, even without furniture. The attached photos show progress of building and you can certainly sense the inside areas being utilised to their full potential once finished.. The photos just dont show the size of the project. It is simply amazing.
