22.01.2022 Earlier this year, Bracegirdle's ran a small fundraiser to support those affected by the bushfires that devastated our state. Proceeds from the sale of Bracegirdle's kangaroo chocolates over the course of a week were donated to the SA Bushfire Appeal, which equated to $3,000 This week we received a letter from Steven Marshall confirming that: "100% of your donation to the SA Bushfire Appeal will directly support those who lost their homes and livelihoods in bushfire affecte...d communities in the Adelaide Hills and on Kangaroo Island". Because it was you, our customers, that rallied together and purchased so many kangaroo chocolates, we wanted to make sure you could join in our celebration. 20.01.2022 Dear Bracegirdle’s customers, Given the COVID-19 lockdown announcement made at 12:30pm this afternoon, please note that all Bracegirdle’s cafes will be closed over the 6-day period. All café bookings for this period will be cancelled. If you have paid a deposit, please contact the relevant café today and provide your bank account details so we can provide a refund. Alternatively, we can hold the deposit and move the booking to a future date.... The ‘Burgers, Beer and Bubbles’ event and the ‘Mrs B’s Chocolate Club’ event will both be postponed until early 2021. More information will be sent to ticket holders in the coming days so please keep an eye on your emails. If you have recently placed an online order, and have not yet received it, you will be contacted directly by one of our team. We will continue to accept online orders over this period, but please note that these orders will not be processed until our cafes re-open, so there will be a delay on delivery. 20.01.2022 In light of the reintroduction of COVID-19 restrictions, there will be some changes to your Bracegirdle's dine-in experience, but first and foremost, please note that ALL Bracegirdle's cafes will be remaining OPEN The indoor and outdoor capacities have been reduced at each cafe (one person per four square metres) so we ask that you please make a booking when coming in for a meal. Takeaway is available at all locations and, at this stage, our two planned events will be go...ing ahead. Hand sanitiser is still available at all cafes and we do ask that you utilise this on arrival. However, we will not be resuming our Mount Lofty Botanic Garden activity until the following Saturday, 28 November. We will continue to enforce the social distancing regulations (1 person/4sqm), have hand sanitiser readily available for your use, and maintain high levels of cleanliness.
