08.01.2022 Good Morning Charters Towers, Well after a very busy few days and the finalization of the candidates for the Charters Towers Local Elections, many of you will know that I have taken the opportunity to stand for the position of local Councillor. For those of you that don't know me I own and operate Hamilton Printers in Gill St, and have been involved with various sporting organisations. I have been in Business for over 20 years and have been a local for most of my life. I jus...t wanted to take time to say hello, and hopefully over the next few weeks I will get the opportunity to meet many people in the community that I don't know. Charters Towers, Greenvale, Ravenswood, Pentland and surrounds are great communities and having the chance to be a representative of all of these places would be a privilege. If chosen to represent these regions i will do my utmost to steer our towns in the right direction, in a positive and progressive manner. I believe this can be achieved with open communication and bridging the gap between the Council and the community. Thank you for your time and support.
