24.01.2022 When I see these beautiful Nyoongar Christmas Trees, I know that Christmas is just around the corner! The Nuytsia floribunda, or 'Nyoongar Christmas tree', can be found in the south-west corner of Western Australia and turns into bright orange each December. It’s a sign that summer is here and also holds a strong cultural meaning to the Nyoongar people. ... We wanted to showcase this absolutely beautiful tree on our cards to share with you all the Nyoongar Christmas that we know and love!
21.01.2022 Fun fact! Paperbark Prints uses recycled paper to make sure we’re doing our part in caring for country. We get our printing done at our local Environmental Printing Company who specialise in 100% recycled stocks and vegetable based inks. For us, it’s not only important to share our culture, but to also make sure we’re looking after country while we’re doing this! Today we’re on Whadjuk country.
