20.01.2022 Limitations and Inspirations. This week I met with a couple in their seventies - they are growing an on line business that they established about 5 years ago and are now selling their service around the world. They had attended a 'Sale Ready Business' event that I presented last month and were coming in for a follow up discussion. They wanted to ensure they had protected their hard work but have no intention of selling right now and the conversation quickly turned to growth a...nd leverage. Wow - their energy was infectious and their level of engagement was an inspiration to everyone. It was a real reminder that many of barriers we think exist are self imposed and with a bit of resolve and resilience you can learn anything. 02.01.2022 Bravo Bose! This encounter absolutely exceeded my customer expectations. In 2015 I purchased a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones that I have used almost daily for work and study. They have been brilliant until recently when the noise cancelling function stopped working.... In search of assistance I visited my local Bose store and explained the situation - they checked the purchase details and set about testing the headphones. The manager said "we can look after these" and I replied great how much will the repair be? He said, "no, we can see from their condition that you have looked after them and we are going to replace them with a new pair because this fault should not occur." So I left the store with a new pair of my model headphones! Thank you Bose, you have gained an advocate and a customer for life.
