24.01.2022 It costs $116,033.50 per year to keep prisoners in jail in Victoria, that is $43,964.25 more than NSW and 46,997.40 more than QLD. Imagine if we could take just the additional costs - $43.964.25 per prisoner per year and invest it is prevention programs - it would be a win-win. Less crime, safer communities and long term savings. We need change and we need leadership to reduce crimes with a plan to stop repeat offending in Victoria.

24.01.2022 As Cardinia reaches zero cases, that is correct, not one active case in Cardinia, there is still no plans to open. Businesses are desperate to get back in a COVIDSafe environment and so many want to simply get back to work. There needs to be a plan to fast track areas of no cases to open safely.

24.01.2022 Everyone deserves to go to work without worrying if they will make it home safely. Tragically, as we saw earlier this year some of our police women and men do not make it home to their families. Today on Blue Ribbon Day please take a minute to honour those who have fallen in the line of duty and thank serving Victoria Police for their commitment to our community. ... If you would like to know how you can donate or get involved with the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation head to www.remember.org.au

23.01.2022 With fines starting at 6pm, this is the site to apply for the permit to return to Victoria so you don’t get fined. This screen shot is at 8pm. Another stuff up by the Labor Govt.

23.01.2022 With case numbers low and the rolling average below the Premier's own benchmark, Daniel Andrews' 5km radius travel ban just doesn't make sense. Sign the petition today to call for its removal below

22.01.2022 The Government has finally announced the dates for the return to onsite learning for Years 7-10. Year 7's will return to school with all primary year levels on October 12. Year's 8-10 will return to school on October 26. ... I know this year has been challenging for our school students who I am sure like their teachers will be looking forward to finally getting back in the classroom. I would also like to wish all students who are sitting the GAT this week, the very best of luck.

22.01.2022 Improving our contact tracing to the levels of other states around the country is key to living in a COVID normal society. As revealed by ex Health Minister Jenny Mikakos yesterday Daniel Andrews is instead focusing on elimination. This is despite ANU epidemiologist Professor Peter Collognon stating "Elimination is hard to maintain. The only place that tried it was New Zealand and, guess what, it didn’t work." ... It is no wonder Victorian's have lost confidence in Daniel Andrews, add your name to www.noconfidence.com.au

21.01.2022 With life a little different this year it may have slipped your mind that at 2am tomorrow daylight savings starts. Do not forget to set your clocks around the home forward tonight before you head to bed. And if you are not sure - Spring Forward, Fall Back. I know it's an Americanism.

20.01.2022 The issue is there is no medical advice to change the rules. Again we see Daniel Andrews using powers introduced by his Labor team to make up the rules as they go. And they want more power next Parliament sitting week.

18.01.2022 It should not matter where you live, you should have access to great learning facilities. Emerald Secondary College have been needing a vital upgrade to their maths and science rooms for many years to continue to enhance their STEM studies. At the last election the Liberal's committed $5.2 million for a state of the art STEM Centre for the College. Despite the community's pleas, the Labor Government have failed to match the commitment. This is why I am calling on the Andrews Labor Government to provide the full funding to build a new STEM Centre for the College in tomorrow's state budget.

17.01.2022 Listen to Phil Gregurke and don’t attempt the drive without a 4WD and plenty to eat and drink. After the Andrews Labor Govt closed borders, Victorians were trying anything to get home - and this article tells you why some risks are not worth it.

16.01.2022 Since 2014 Officer Fire Brigade have had a large increase in the amount of turnouts they are called to. Despite the demand for the Brigade, the Labor Government have failed to match the Liberal's election commitment at the last election for a new pumper. It is important our amazing volunteers at Officer Fire Brigade have the best equipment to protect the community and this is why I am calling on the Andrews Government to finally provide the much needed funding for a new pumper in this week's state budget.

15.01.2022 Daniel Andrews and his Labor Government have reached an all time low, refusing to realease their full budget, leaving the documents detailing their project timelines, cost blow outs, cuts and spending all missing.

15.01.2022 With everything going on at the moment daylight sayings has seemed to have crept upon us. Do not forget when you head to bed tonight to place your clocks forward by one hour in your home.

13.01.2022 BREAKING: Just announced by Daniel Andrews, from 5.59pm tonight (Monday 11th January) everyone wanting to travel to Victoria will require a permit- this has left many with only 3 hours notice to receive their permits. We understand there are some issues with the permit website and have raised this with the government. ... 13.01.2022 Did you know Australia is the only remaining first-world country to have not controlled trachoma- an infectious disease that causes blindness? The wonderful volunteers from Rotary Club of Berwick have put together 53 hygiene kits to be sent to Papunya in the Northern Territory, some 240 kilometres north-west of Alice Springs to be handed out to school children under the age of 10 years old. These kits also included handwritten letters from primary school students. ... What a fantastic effort by our local Rotarians to help promote personal hygiene and stamp out trachoma in our country.

12.01.2022 Over my time as the Member for Gembrook I have continually witnessed how important Men Shed's are for men in our community's mental health, especially those in their retirement. Whilst their normal weekly activities have been placed on a temporary hold, they are still finding ways to check in on one another on a weekly basis. This Men's Shed Week I urge anyone that is or knows someone looking for mate ship, learn a new skill, share a hobby or get involved in their community... to contact their local Men's Shed and sign up. 11.01.2022 We are Australia, and each year I can’t wait to see the latest Lamb ads. This one is perfect. Not the United States of Australia, just simply Australia

11.01.2022 Dance schools have been reclassified by the government as 'indoor exercise' instead of "creative industries" meaning they are unable to reopen until the last step with other high-risk industries. This is despite contact sport like football clubs able to return earlier. Jack and Ella from @Suzie Ryrie School of Dance explain how they feel it is unfair they return after contact sports when they are able to return to the studio with social distancing and no shared equipment. ... Support them and other students by signing the petition asking the Government to reclassify dance schools so they are able to return safely sooner via https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SupportDanceStudios See their full interview here https://youtu.be/-sHBGcTm1mI

11.01.2022 Daniel Andrews signed off on an extra $3m (total $6m) for an investigation into who in his team signed off on Hotel Quarantine. In any business, in this country, the Board would be held accountable, including the chair - and that is Daniel Andrews. We don't need to spend $6m to find answers, we need Ministers telling the truth.... Send Daniel Andrews a message that you have lost confidence - sign the petition - https://www.noconfidence.com.au/

11.01.2022 There are many families who are finding it extremely tough at the moment, with the help of Planetshakers South East volunteers Empower Australia Food Relief Centres are ensuring those in need are able to get some food and essential items. Last Sunday I headed to the Pakenham food relief centre to see Pastor Joe and hear what they are doing to help those in the community. If you are need of assistance you can head to 12 Bormar Drive, Pakenham Sundays between 9.30am- 1.00pm. ... If you would like to donate items head to https://bit.ly/36lv7jr

10.01.2022 It's the lies, the misleading and it all is at the top. It is obvious the decision come from Daniel Andrews office. Cut the crap, tell the 800 plus families who have lost a loved one the truth - they deserve it. Victorian hotel inquiry’s six-minute conundrum

09.01.2022 'If you take away hope, you take away peoples freedom, and Daniel Andrews restrictions do just that.' The sledgehammer is impacting lives, destroying business and removing freedoms. We need a common-sense approach where we can return to work safely.

09.01.2022 How can we trust Daniel Andrews when he keeps moving the goal posts. The next step included removing the 5km limit ban - now the Premier threatened all Metro Melb he may decide to keep it. If you think Labor must remove the 5km restriction - sign the petition. ... https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Remove5kmBan

08.01.2022 This is what happens when you use ADF for Hotel Quarantine - you have crowds at the footy - actually you have footy in your state at finals time. AFL

07.01.2022 If the plan is working so well as Daniel Andrews said - why the change in law on face masks? The medical advice hasn't changed.

05.01.2022 Many people have said they want to see a change of Government and the removal of Daniel Andrews - the best way to do that is to join the Liberal Party. https://members.vic.liberal.org.au/join There are two years until the next state election, and you could be part of our team as we work to build a platform and policies to return good governance to Victoria and protect your freedoms.

04.01.2022 Here are the facts - direct from State Government websites. 74.5% of all cases in Australia are in Victoria. More than 90% of all cases in Victoria come from the failed hotel quarantine.... The daily peaks of 700 could be linked to the hotel quarantine outbreak. These are facts, and the only fact missing is who is responsible for the decisions around hotel quarantine. We can't have confidence in the leadership who oversaw this failure to fix it, join us and send Daniel Andrews a message - https://www.noconfidence.com.au/

02.01.2022 Victoria's lockdown has been particular hard on our hospitality industry especially our local pubs, but some like Central Hotel Beaconsfield and Cardinia Park Hotel have adapted to ensure they will be there for us again when life begins to return to normal.
