24.01.2022 Hi all, just got home from another busy day. Building & Pest inspection, buyer appointments, phone calls & meetings....pheewww I hope you all had a productive day too. I found this quote earlier & kind of think it puts things into perspective a bit. ... "Do not be bothered by your reputation. Admiration is fickle. Applause is sometimes meaningless. 24.01.2022 How's this guys - ones a photo of a property I've just sold & the other is a fantastic mud cake made in the shape of that very house I've just soldthe cake was made for me to present as a gift for the buyers & they were so happy & impressed with it. And even better, the lucky buyers next door neighbour was the very clever lady who made it for me. Years ago, when selling in Brisbane, I used to know a baker who could do this & so I'd have her make a cake to look like the house that I'd sold. Now, here in little ol Bli Bli I've found another pastry chef & so she'll be getting plenty business from me. Thank you Clare - it looked delicious & smelled even better. Home Sweet Home, i love it.

I found this last night amongst a stack of real estate 'memorabilia ' in my office. This was done in the early '90's & the mate responsible for this is still one of my top 2 or 3 mates today (just).
