25.01.2022 Did you know that drawing on both vertical & horizontal surfaces is vital for children's development? It allows them to develop their hand-eye coordination, builds the stability in their elbows and arm & shoulder strength, as well as refining their dexterity & control over what they are drawing.

24.01.2022 Caution! Construction crew at work! Our Room 2 children have loved creating their own town using window & door stickers and recycled boxes.

23.01.2022 Our room 4 artists have been creating again, this time decorating their own mail truck to deliver mail throughout the centre.

23.01.2022 Wow, what a wintery blast today was! Our children loved getting out and playing in the snow! We even brought some of the snow inside for the children to explore. While our younger children weren't too sure about the snow, our older children loved creating snowmen and having a snowball fight.

23.01.2022 Have you missed heading to the library? Well libraries after dark at Sebastopol library is back! Starting this Thursday, the Sebastopol library will be open until 10pm! Each week they will have new activities and experiences to explore!

23.01.2022 As part of their Diwali celebrations, our room 2 children were encouraged to focus on the bright vibrant colours and incorporating light into creating their own sun catchers today. This experience not only allowed our children to develop a deeper understanding of a different culture, but it was wonderful for their fine motor skills. Using a pincer grip, the children took great care to pick up the tiny cuts of colourful paper and experimented with cause and effect with the sticky contact paper.

This week as part of our NAIDOC celebrations we recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. Our centre sits on Wadawurrung land, everyday we work with our children to develop a respectful understanding of the long and rich history of this country.

20.01.2022 Sometimes the simplest resources are the most loved. Our children love exploring outside everyday, connecting with nature. With the weather heating up water play is also a much loved experience each day.

We are seeking an educator with a clear passion for early learning that reflects the qualities of our philosophy here at Brady Bunch. Educators will need to be familiar with the NQS and the EYLF and are willing to go above and beyond for families and the children they entrust to us.
