10.01.2022 Since my election to Federal Parliament, I have expressed concern about the direction of the superannuation system. I mentioned it in my First Speech and published a book called Bad Egg: How to Fix Super in June 2020 to set out my concerns. There is too much self-interest, far too much waste and not enough delivery on key objectives.... The Treasurer has now released the Retirement Income Review. This report provides a pathway to pursue higher levels of home ownership, cutting fees and getting a better deal for taxpayers. It aligns with Bad Egg as set out below.
