24.01.2022 Year 5/6 Camp update - we have just heard from the camp teachers that the buses expected arrival is 4pm not 5pm as originally estimated.
24.01.2022 Yesterday marked the last day of teaching before taking extended leave for Mrs Jill Clarke. For over 20 years, Mrs Clarke has been instrumental in educating the children and young people at Braidwood Central School. Having started as a student of the school herself, she has watched our school grow and change over the decades. In her time she has seen the classroom wood fire and teachers piano of her primary days change to smart boards and flexible learning spaces. Jill has su...pported countless students with their learning and wellbeing, and has been proactive in sustaining the rich history of our school and town. Her connection with our school extends to her own family, with four generations of Clarke children attending the school. The entire Braidwood Central School community will miss her passion, care and support and we wish her all the best in her next chapter. All the best, Jill! See more

20.01.2022 Last week saw preparations for the next phase of the new build commence. In order to begin the phase 2 build works, 3 existing demountable buildings were removed from site. It was a mammoth task but the day went well. Some of our students filmed some of the action for us. The next step will be the removal and relocation of L Block to Narooma High School.
18.01.2022 Congratulations to Layla Stuart reaching the regional final of the Multicultural Public Speaking Competition. Her final will take place on Friday 23 October (Week 2) via Zoom. Our other students, Grace Tybell, Ruby Lewis and Eden Wimborne also showed wonderful effort in working on their speeches and represented the school very well. Yesterday our Year 11 debating team (Anusha Bajracharya, Tara Broso, Jack Wasson and Maxx Bigg) were outstanding in their win against a team from Asquith Girls High and so have reached the 4th round of their competition, which makes them one win away from the state quarter finals. This is a fine achievement, particularly for a team that includes a student from Year 8 and another from Year 10 when their opposition teams are consistently made up of Year 11 students.
