Maybe there’s a new colour running through it. It still looks like you, but it’s tidier, swishier and more polished. We worked with TQM Design & Construction to do just that. They came to us because it was time to refresh their brand. They wanted to feel more relevant, modern and build their credibility.... So we took their existing logo and, instead of changing it completely, pulled out different elements to feature and enhance. We updated 70% of their stationery and marketing collateral to reflect the company they wanted to be seen as in the future. And we kept the colour palette the same but focused on different applications and tonality. Brands engage a Tier-1 agency, and it's all honeymoon period at the start, but once implementation kicks in, the relationship starts to disintegrate. Suddenly they don't call you back. It's days or weeks between emails, you can't seem to get answers to your questions. Why ...is this so common? My theory is that Tier 1 agencies just don’t have the bandwidth to put you first. 05.01.2022 Design excellence is about translating a brand's anatomy, purpose and vision through the application of colour, shape, tone and texture. Almost a decade ago, we worked with Giant Steps, a school established to bring the world's best practice in treating and educating children with autism to Australia. Our objective was to communicate the struggle autistic children have in processing information.... So we designed a brochure in the same vein that a curriculum would be delivered. We made it sensory through print embellishments and finishes such as foils, raised print and UV varnishes and a combination of different sized papers with different textures. The result enabled the reader to have a greater understanding of some of the challenges these children face.
