16.01.2022 Dinner for a family (18 including the kids), gathering last night, golf was cancelled so fell back to conversations and a bit of darts. 295mm till 2.30 pm for this month so far. This weather event so far is 122.5 mm to 2.30pm and still raining coming in showers and scuds. This is when we have a swimming hole to swim in, but still a great creek to explore when dry. 11.01.2022 A game of golf yesterday with guest and locals, Ambrose play best ball. 2 teams tied with 36 and other team 39. Good game. Today spreading half tonne of DAP with my little slaves. All done and dusted till next year

09.01.2022 Thought I would put this up for people to see. Put this together before the lockdown. Some of our grandchildren, normally come and spend some, if not most of their school holidays with us. Those who have spent time here with us will know them. We go exploring up the creek when dry , and swim in it, if we are lucky enough to get some rain. So lets take a walk up Dry Creek.

08.01.2022 Hackers Paradise and Golfers Nightmare. Perfect day for a game, the wind held of till the last hole. Well I had a game of Crazy Golf with these guest today. Took us just 3 ish hours to complete as Rick commented. And as he said, we started at 10 ish. Was fun, a struggle and whatever they wanted it to be.

05.01.2022 Yesterday played 18 holes with these guys and gal, 3 teams of 2, Ambrose. The guys tied at 75 and we girls came in at 84, so not to shabby with all the obstructions on the way . A real great winters day, warm with a little breeze to cool down tempers at times. especially on FC of No 3 . Always a laugh, a bit of sledging going on. Some good/great shots and some shite ones.... We all did a putt if not several, that went in and went out would not stay put. These guys gave me the incentive to keep going during these last 12 weeks when we were not operating . 05.01.2022 Here are some videos for the Crazy 9 played today. Place is getting dry and cannot stop the leaves from falling.

02.01.2022 Another game with the regular locals, had a ring in. I reckon he enjoyed himself. Another fun day was had by all. Grass drying off fast with all the wind and no rain we had in the previous weeks. Emmett the cat enjoying himself while I pack the 10 centers for the grandies, shed full.

02.01.2022 Been playing with these guys twice a week for about three weeks. Ambrose , play best ball. Lots of laughs and really close games Put an old mat of FCH no 3 some of them were extremely happy , some of their best scores. We are very dry , our creek has absolutely no water and the catchment dams are the lowest we have seen since forever. Just keeping the plants alive totally bore wate at present no mix. The rain water tanks are still holding out.... Oh well one day close to rain. See more
