15.01.2022 If the family law system has failed to protect your children from sexual assault or violence, we want to hear about it. We are looking for mums, dads and grandparents who are prepared to tell their personal experiences of the family law system. Your story could be about the family courts alone, or about the courts' interactions with police and child protection and departments. If you're interested, please PM us a very short summary of your family law experience, and note whe...ther or not you need to conceal your identity when telling your story publicly. We don't need the whole story at this stage, just the basics. After that we'll figure out the best ways we can tell these stories, such as in writing, video or animation, to help everyone understand the need for a safer family law system. Remember, you can be prosecuted under the Family Law Act for publishing details about family law cases online, so please only share your story with us via Private Message.

11.01.2022 If you're in Cairns, support Step Up In Their Shoes by dropping your donation to Cairns Regional Domestic Violence Service. Too many children experience violence and sexual assault through Family Court orders that force them to spend time, or even live with, offenders. #StepUp is an exhibition of shoes symbolising the lost children of Australia’s family law system. Anyone with a child in their life at risk of violence or sexual assault through their contact with our family c...ourts, police or child protection departments is invited to donate a pair of pre-loved children’s shoes for the exhibition. If you believe children should be protected from harm, please donate a pair of your own shoes. The exhibition will take place in March 2019 to show our federal leaders that all Australians believe children should be safe. After the exhibition is over the shoes will be donated to another charity. See more
