25.01.2022 TRADIE TUESDAY Whats good at Coffee Rescue? The coffee, thats whats good! Ask Joel, our first tradie on our second day or trade. Joel was so impressed by the coffee we serve that he made a second visit for cup number 2 within 40mins.... Thank you for your energy this morning- Tuesday is now TRADIE TUESDAY because of you. We are located inside Community Pantry 223 Great Southern Rd, Bargo. 6am-9:30am Mon-Fri Drop in grab a hot brew and a bite to eat meet some great people and the best part- play a small role in creating a cleaner environment. 24.01.2022 Calling all of our members who are following a gluten-free, or low-carb or a sugar-free diet, now you can enjoy a seriously great coffee with a healthy treat at a local cafe. OCP has been able to secure another delivery of The Nochu 95% Sugar Free Birthday Cake Donuts this week. Nochu has a simple philosophy All Love. No Sugar, they believe that healthy food should not taste like cardboard, and that those with intolerances, allergies or even diabetes should also be able t...o enjoy decadent treats without compromising their health. Nochu 95% Sugar Free Birthday Cake Donuts will be available to accompany your coffee at Coffee Rescue this week.

22.01.2022 Coffee Rescue has been awarded the status of RESPONSIBLE CAFE!!! Woohoo! To get further behind our purpose to raise awareness and tackle waste, Coffee Rescue is building Wollondilly’s First Community Mug library. What is a Mug Library?... A mug library is a stash of mugs which have been donated by our community, which our community can then access as an alternative to plastic-lined takeaway coffee cups and plastic lids. How does our Mug Library work? 1. Head to Coffee Rescue for your morning coffee in-house 2. Pick your favourite cup that reflects your personality and receive your 50-cent discount for choosing to borrow a cup from our Mug Library 3. Enjoy your coffee knowing you are reducing landfill and ensuring one less cup goes to landfill what a champion! Did you know that Australians throw away 1 billion takeaway coffee cups into the landfill each year - that is approximately 2,700,000 paper coffee cups every day! This is insane! The best way to make sure you are not contributing to this problem is easy - bring your own reusable cup or borrow one of ours! But we need your help! We are looking for donations of non-branded coffee cups of all different materials ceramic, enamel, glass etc. Here is one simple way you can help OCP. Next time you are at, or passing through OCP, stop in and drop off one mug you no longer use (we all have those mugs we never use but still keep in our cupboards). Please ensure mugs are clean, not chipped and non-branded. One little action creates the seed of big impact down the line (Just one disposable cup saved a day equates to over 11 kilos of waste in just one year!). Please share this with your own networks, we want to build Wollondilly’s first Mug Library with a collection of diverse, mixed, varied mugs built by our community that reflects our community!

03.01.2022 The making of a Macchiato. Did you know Macchiato is the Italian word for Stained? As you can see at the end of the espresso pour the fluffy micro foam on top has a nice staining of espresso, the espresso shot floats on top of steamed milk and is submerged under the micro foam. A true work of art Can you tell this is a favourite of mine?... Pop in, order your favourite and I will craft the perfect blend for you.
