23.01.2022 More mishandling of funds without following proper process. We used to call this corruption. The chair of the committee, Labor’s Anthony Chisholm, called on McKenzie to explain why five projects which scored significantly below the recommended cutoff were added at the last minute. He argued they show that McKenzie and the prime minister’s office choose political gain over project merit.

14.01.2022 Relatively safe activities (outdoor protests) banned while much more dangerous activities (dining in, going to the pub, catching public transport and going to t...he footy with thousands of others with no mask) are not. Why the difference? One has been challenging the NSW Police violent and sometimes deadly responses, especially towards Aboriginal people, and the massive cuts that are happening in education under the Liberals, while the others do not. The NSW COVID-19 response is headed by Police Commissioner Mick Fuller who is far from impartial: he is a political animal. He has defended the illegal sexual assault of children by police at festivals. He has defended the violent assault of a compliant Aboriginal teen by a power-tripping bad cop. Mick Fuller is not just an executor of the rule of law: he is a contributor to bad policing in this state. He will do anything to stop the Black Lives Matters protests and to stop protests against Liberal Party education cuts as a thank you for the recent nearly $90K pay rise he received from his masters (while all other police are being forced to go on a 12 month pay freeze).
