In the meantime, start with the following tips: SPECIFIC - The more defined and specific your goal is, the more likely you are to achieve it. MEASURABLE - If you cannot measure the results of your achievements against anything solid, you will end up constantly chasing a moving finish line. Set an end point so you know when you've achieved your goals. You can always start a new goal once you achieve the first.... ACTION BASED - The tasks or actions required to achieve your goal. REALISTIC - Goals need to be achievable for you in your current situation. Eg. Is your goal weight achievable for your body type? Is your savings goal realistic for your income level? TIME ORIENTED - When do you intend to achieve your goal? Again, this is about giving yourself defined boundaries so you're not chasing that moving goalpost.
