19.01.2022 BURLEIGH BONGOS IMPORTANT!! - copy and pasted, please share by DM to all your friends who love BURLEIGH BONGOS You may have heard about the negative publicity and media coverage Bongo's received from last Sunday's large crowds and lack of social distancing.Police or council will likely be trying to shut down or issue fines to individuals next Sunday who ignore current restrictions. Beyond our personal beliefs about restrictions or the pandemic let's unite to keep this culture... alive. SOLUTION Let's all work together and be proactive, smart and peaceful to keep the amazing music and fun in the park happening in a peaceful and respectful way by: Spreading out, it's a big park and there's lot of space Bring a picnic blanket, to help maintain 1.5metres space. Movers and shakers - give each other lots of space or move inside a hula hoop or on your blanket. Drummers leave a space of 1.5metres, if someone sets up right next to you move or respectfully ask them to. Exercising with flow props please encourage all your spectators to spread out. Wear a really cool face mask if you want to go all out. Chill at home this week just an idea to reduce numbers for a week. Be loving - do not fight or argue with council reps or police. AIM: To keep Bongo's alive in a safe, peaceful, respectful way.
