03.01.2022 S BEND CARAVAN PARK AND ROADHOUSE Greenough, WA I first visited this little caravan park and roadhouse, half way between Dongara and Geraldton, back in 1976 and... have just kept going back. It hasnt changed heaps in all those years and that is one of the things I love about it. The caravan park offers lovely shady, green grassy sites, roaring campfires in the cooler months and absolutely everything is clean, neat and tidy. One popular feature of the park is the overnight drive through bays. Just drive straight onto a beautiful green, grassy, powered site (no need to unhitch) and straight out the next morning! Another fantastic incentive is the $5 per person, per night for fully self-contained caravans and RVs. Use your own power, loo and shower and that is all you pay! Book ahead, spend the day exploring, knowing you wont arrive at the campground to find there is no more room. I like to travel light so I booked an unpowered tent site and all it cost me was $15 a night. Give them a call for other rates. And if that isnt enough, for many years the S Bend has held the reputation for the best burgers on the Brand Hwy, so I put the theory to the test and wasnt disappointed. Their fish and chips with salad were pretty good as well. All made fresh and no soggy salad to be seen! The new owners and their staff were so friendly and helpful and while I was there I was treated to a tour of the newly refurbished chalets and let in on some of their plans for the future. So stay tuned its gonna be good! PS - Its pet friendly too and you can access a brilliant fishing beach through the back of the park ! S-Bend Caravan Park and Roadhouse

01.01.2022 It was so nice to receive a note left from a happy camper last night. Thankyou.
