Due to COVID, this year celebrations will be held this week instead. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. 20.01.2022 2020 has been a challenging year for all of us. Brentwood is taking up the 'Water Night' Challenge TONIGHT from 5pm to 5am. The challenge involves staying away from taps and using only a single bucket of water. Are you ready for the challenge?

17.01.2022 Today we had this lovely token of appreciation dropped off to the school from one of our year 7 families thanking us for all of the effort and support that Brentwood has provided them across this year. We all know that 2020 hasn't turned out the way we thought it would, and there have been a lot of challenges that no one was expecting. As our school is returning to a new form of normal with all our students gradually returning onsite, we believe that our Brentwood staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that our students have been supported across the year. We all do this because we love supporting and nurturing each and every one of our students and creating bonds with them and their families that last throughout their whole time at Brentwood.

13.01.2022 Brentwood is once again collecting donations to support this year’s Salvos Christmas Appeal. If you are able to, please support the appeal by contributing items from the list below. Donations can be dropped off to the House Hub at the college. Thank you for your support.

10.01.2022 Getting ready for our socially distanced guard of honour farewell for the class of 2020

10.01.2022 At the end of Term 3, our international students and various members of staff gathered together online to hold a Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration. Students learnt about the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival and its meaning, listened to a mythical story about the Mid-Autumn Festival, played games together, and enjoyed many wonderful performances from students across all year levels. Our teachers also shared a lot of interesting things about themselves and their hometown. It was great to see our community still able to come together and celebrate.

10.01.2022 We wish every singly one of year 12 students the best today as they head into the first of their written exams. This year has thrown our students challenges that no other year 12 class have had to face, but we know that our students have been able to persevere and we congratulate them for their extraordinary effort in completing their schooling in such an unprecedented year. Deputy Premier and Minister for Education James Merlino has put together this short video to acknowledge all year 12 students across the state on their efforts this year.

09.01.2022 Today is World Teacher Day and here at Brentwood we would like to take a moment and acknowledge all of our teaching and support staff who make Brentwood the special place that it is. Working in schools with young people is complex and takes a special and talented group of adults. Our roles extend beyond simply teachers and support staff. On any one day we are learners ourselves so we can adapt to various students and situations, we are a mentor, parent, curriculum expert, sports coach, mediator, instructional coach, event manager, IT guru, role model and much much more. 2020 has certainly been a challenging year and we believe it has demonstrated just how important schools and their staff are to our society. So thank you once again.

04.01.2022 With our Year 12's completing their last official day of school yesterday, there is a great webinar taking place next week presented by Red Frogs aimed towards our parents and carers with information on how they can support their teens to transition out of completing their time at school and move on to whatever is next. Check out their site below and sign up if you think it will be valuable to you and your household. https://events.humanitix.com/redfrogs-parentinfo-vic20
