25.01.2022 TEAM OF THE WEEK This weeks team of the week is the Brentwood Budgies! When asked about the Budgies, their coach Catherine stated the following: ... It’s been amazing to finally be able to get back out on the court this year. Last week we had a tough game, and although we lost, the girls showed great team spirit and kept trying until the end. I’m so looking forward to coaching these girls and seeing where the season will take us! We wish the Budgies luck for the remainder of the season! Go Brentwood

25.01.2022 TEAMS OF THE WEEK Another week, another team of the week... well two teams of the week!! Our teams of the week are the Brentwood Bambies coached by Talia and the Brentwood Bumblebees coached by Catherine and Lexie! ... This week the Brentwood Bambies had their first win! Yay! There were multiple players who had a chance to shoot some goals, which was an amazing effort! It is great to see the Bambies back out on court and trying their hardest every week! We are incredibly proud of them and their determination out on court! The Brentwood Bumblebees have been so excited to get back out on the court. They had a win on Saturday and scored 5 goals! It was an amazing game where everyone demonstrated the skills they have been working on at training. They focused on movement in the circle and defending the shot. We are so proud of their efforts throughout this social season!! Congratulations to both teams and their coaches! Go Brentwood

24.01.2022 TRIVIA NIGHT Did you hear the big news?!?! Brentwood are celebrating the end of the year with a Trivia night!! On Saturday the 12th of December at 7pm we are putting all your brains to the test! So get your family or some team mates together to participate in our zoom trivia! ... Please find the link to register your team on the flyer below! It is preferred that there is one device used per household. You can find a direct link to register your team, along with the meeting ID and password for the zoom, all on team app!! If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us! 20.01.2022 WE ARE BACK We had such a great time at our face to face training this week and are looking forward to seeing you all at training this week!! We are also beyond excited to be starting the social competition tomorrow for all our junior club members! We cannot wait to see all your smiling faces on court!! ... There are a few covid measures that have been put in place to make it safe for all players! Please see the following and the map of the centre attached: 1 parent/guardian per player Must wear masks and social distance Siblings are allowed if necessary. Please use park areas and be responsible, social distancing and gathering limits still apply. If you are to enter the centre for more than 15 minutes, please use the QR Code The canteen will be open, and are taking cash, however prefer cash less payments. 18.01.2022 FACE TO FACE TRAINING GUESS WHAT?!?!?! WE ARE BACK!!!... This week our junior teams will be back training on Friday from 4:15pm-5:15pm! We are beyond excited to see everyone and can’t wait to get back into netball!! All coaches will be getting in contact with their teams, regarding all information about training this week. Please keep an eye out for their message! Some key information is as follows: There is no access to the water taps, so all players must bring their own water bottles. We encourage players to use the bathroom prior to training! When you arrive at the courts please head straight to the court that your coach has advised you to! If anyone has any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us or your coaches! Can't wait to see you all! Go Brentwood!!

11.01.2022 TEAM OF THE WEEK This weeks team of the week is the Brentwood Bounders, who are coached by Penny!! Brentwood Bounders kicked off the start of a hot social season with not only big smiles, lots of laughs and some new faces to the team but they also won the game. There were lovely passages of play, incredible defence and goals a plenty. It was like they had never had the last eight months away from the court.... Well done Bounders and here is to enjoying 3 more games! Go Brentwood

07.01.2022 TEAMS OF THE WEEK We are in for a treat this week, with two teams of the week!! Our teams of the week are the Brentwood Budgies coached by Alice and the Brentwood Bullets coached by Dani! ... The Brentwood Budgies have been learning to work together as it is a brand new team. They continue to show some great netball skills and are always very encouraging to each other on court! It’s lovely to see the girls trying new positions and having some fun with their netball! It was great to see some great passages of play and some good goals as well! The Brentwood Bullets had a great week this week, playing like they never had time away for the court! It was a great game to watch, with some very nice passages of play and amazing defensive pressure. The Bullets had a big win, with the attacking end linking up very nicely! It has been lovely to see the Bullets back out on court and working well as a team! The Bullets are very excited to continue the social season and are loving playing out on the court together! 06.01.2022 ONLINE TRAINING Online training is back this week!! We hope to see you all on zoom for another online training session! ... This weeks start time has changed to 4:30 to accomodate for school times! You will need: 4 cones you can use drink bottles, shoes, cans for cones 1 ball if you don’t have a netball any other kind will be fine A soft toy eg beanie bear that you can throw (nothing that’s precious as it will likely land on the ground) If you have a wall to throw against or a partner to throw with that would be great but not essential. 05.01.2022 TEAM OF THE WEEK This weeks team of the week is the Brentwood Blazers, who are coached by Penny! Winning 25-16 the 17u Brentwood Blazers took to the court and come out firing. Connections that were practiced during training were executed and when the goalers got the ball in the goal ring they had the confidence to turn and shoot with a high accuracy rate. Looking forward to working with the players and building on this great start.... Congratulations Blazers!! Go Brentwood
