25.01.2022 Looking forward to a great day at EPIC!

22.01.2022 When this article came out I was cheered by the diversity of those who were mentioned. It is great to see positive movement in our society and some genuine inclusion and respect shown to those who display love for each other. https://www.abc.net.au//three-proposal-stories-th/11857570

18.01.2022 Some limited good news for those getting married in Canberra. The ACT Government has increased the number of attendees allowed to a wedding to 10 (not including the celebrant or the photographer). Of course strict social distancing will remain in force with people needing to remain at least 1.5 metres away from each other or 1 person per 4 square metres if inside a building. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me and I'll clarify it for you or you can check out the site at http://www.covid19.act.gov.au/ Hope you are all safe and well. Brian

15.01.2022 This doesn't apply if you are marrying a Centaur!

13.01.2022 Congratulations to these two ladies! https://www.comicsands.com/history-marriage-equality-northe

10.01.2022 This isn't what the Government meant but people are finding such wonderful ways of using technology as part of their special day. How will you use it?

01.01.2022 Good morning folks. After a tumultuous week, the Attorney General's Department has clarified the Government position regarding weddings and funerals. A wedding can only be held with five people (bride, groom, two witnesses and celebrant). This is the minimum number to actually have a legal wedding. Please don't feel that this would ruin your wedding. We can make sure you are married appropriately and then later hold a commitment ceremony and reception with all your family and... friends. In these times it is more important to ensure that all your family and friends remain healthy and avoid any chance of contamination by Covid 19. An outbreak at your wedding would leave a terrible memory against what should be your happiest day. Together, we will ensure that your loving bond is made safely, legally and with a strong start. When farewelling our cherished departed, we naturally want to bring our friends and loved ones with us. In the current pandemic, this would be dangerous (particularly to the elderly). Consequently the restriction is approximately 10 with any more than 10 agreed with the funeral director. We can still remember them appropriately but will need to keep the attendance limited to immediate family. They wouldn't want to endanger any of you and we can respect that too. If you are unsure about any of the changes, please call or message me. These are difficult times but we can make things happen together with love and respect. Brian Brennan
