I'm back with another video for all you Moon River fans! Last year I was listening to Moon River for a bit of fun, and came across a gorgeous arrangement by a wonderful Brazilian jazz Guitarist named Toninho Horta. It took me a very long time to learn the arrangemen...t, to just the right tone, dynamic control, melodic control, whilst also trying to add my own little bits and pieces. Oh and I'm using a capo because I just liked it in B...not because those stretches were causing me a lot of grief...) This is the perfect song to showcase the luscious and majestic sounds of the Tonewood-Amp that is attached to the back of my guitar. As Mike Dawes says, the only way they could've done it was with magic pixies and goblins!

07.01.2022 Last week I held my first proper student concert. Even though most of my students were already on holidays, I was so proud of everyone who turned up and performed. Throughout the year, I made it a goal to ensure every student was empowered and given every opportunity to play music the way they wanted to, with the right attitude. To take a leaf out of Herbie Hancock's book, all aspiring musicians understand that music is non-judgemental and should be used as a platform to bri...ng people together in a positive manner. I was filled with so much pride when every student and parent embraced this without question. Add to this, together we raised $150 for the @vinniesnsw Bushfire appeal. If this year's concert is small indication of where music is heading, then the future of music will be more than ok. Of course, I have to give 500% of the credit to my lovely girlfriend, Eudoria, who took a lot of time and effort to make the most delicious food for the day, so much so i think everyone forgot that they were there for a concert not a lunch. I can't show the food because we are in the process of opening a cafe that will take over Starbucks. Mum's the word on that. See more

05.01.2022 With the resurgence of the pandemic in Sydney affecting everyone, none other than small businesses, it's more important than ever to support your local businesses and communities. Carlingford Music Centre have supported me since I was 10, and they've supported Australian musicians and music schools for over 35 years.
