25.01.2022 The Bribie Island Sailing Club was proud to assist in hosting the 68 th Bribie Cup organised by QCYC. We had 3 boats from the Bribie Island Sailing Club participate including Crew’s Control, Fluid Balance and Midnight Rain. Other Bribie Island Sailors also participated in the Bribie Cup including Peter on a Seawind from NCYC Play On and Captain Parritt . We thank the QCYC for hosting the event and enjoyed the welcoming club house festivities at the QCYC. We also had team members Paul Fitzerald, Vice Commodore Jim Thomson, John Ennis and the outrigger club provide great support.

22.01.2022 A great morning of sailing last Saturday with 11 boats, triangle - sausage - triangle and the first BISC sail for 2020. Welcome on board Vikki and Daniel Eschler who had their first solo sail on their new boat Yum Yum! Congratulations and we look forward to many more great sailing days with you. As the wind increased some crews opted to finish for the day while others went out for Race 2 on Pumicestone Passage. Well done to those brave crew members ! A good day spoilt by injury to crew and sail.

21.01.2022 The Bribie Island Sailing Club RUM Race event. With 12 boats out competing for the rum prizes up for grabs. The passage and fleet look great. We also had Ali Ki...ng, candidate for Pumicestone, attend who graciously helped with cooking the BBQ and helped to award the prizes with Commodore Peter. 20.01.2022 An enjoyable BISC End of Year dinner and presentation night was held at the Bribie RSL last night. Thirty-six people attended and six worthy members received their trophy/prize.

18.01.2022 The BISC held its annual Christmas party and awards night. A great night for all involved and some nice trophies presented. We should congratulate Geoff and Elaine on winning the red award and also a gift from the club for all the musical entertainment through the yearly events.... Jim Hawke won the Saturday Series, Sunday series and club champion. Well done Jim. We are all looking forward to seeing the next design you are working on and possible trophy winner in the new year. John Ennis for taking out the Mission Point Series. Well done John! Bill Ferguson through persistence and skill won the single handed race. We hope to see more of Bill in the coming year. The commodore’s award went to Rosie, our club secretary, for all the efforts and behind the scenes work not many of us see.

13.01.2022 Sunday, 20th Sept: race in the Pumicestone Passage. Five boats took part, up to Poverty Point green marker, back to Toorbul for lunch. Finishing off with a race from Toorbul to Bellara.
