20.01.2022 CEO ANNOUNCEMENT Yesterday, MBRIT made the decision to cancel fireworks planned for the Christmas Moreton Bay Region program, including Caboolture, North Lakes..., Scarborough and Pine Rivers Christmas Carols. To support communities impacted by fires, MBRIT will donate the full cost of these fireworks, valued at $10,000, split between Australian Red Cross, Lifeline Queensland, the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland. You can also show your support! There will be donation points available at each of the Christmas events, for residents wishing to donate to the Rural Fire Service groups of the Moreton Bay Region. On behalf of the MBRIT Board and entire team, our thoughts and best wishes are with the communities across our country affected by the bush fire crisis.
