20.01.2022 Looking for ways to fundraise at your work for the Longest Line of Coins World Record Attempt??? Try these suggestions: - instead of a secret santa, bring the money you would of spent in a jar and pool it all together to donate - have a casual clothes day and have a gold coin donation - ask us for a shaker tin for people to put their change into each week... - If your office has a real sweet tooth, you could try ditching the snacks for a week and donate all the money that you would have spent instead. Try this out in January when people are usually on a health kick anyway, it will give them some added motivation! See more

20.01.2022 Ballarat Health Services is honoured to have received support from the Jim and Shirley Richards Trust for the purchase of devices which will further develop the... treatment of breast cancer for patients in Ballarat and surrounding regions. A tiny magnet called a Magseed and about the size of a grain of rice is inserted into the breast and then identified by the surgeon at operation by passing a hand-held magnet-finder (a magnetometer) over the area. This eliminates the need for hookwires, previously used to identify the location of tiny lesions. We are very grateful to have this donation and for the support of Andrew and Sandra at BJT Legal in bringing this project to our community. See more
