24.01.2022 Wayne from @apollo_floors is preparing this Black butt floor at one of our Oatley projects. This particular floor will have a custom stain finish - 50% Brown Japan mixed with 50% Black Japan. Should look sharp. #blackbutt #polishedfloorboards #floorboards #brownjapanstain #blackjapanstain @ Oatley, New South Wales, Australia

24.01.2022 Beautiful tiles in the main bathroom at our Lugarno renovation. Can't wait to see the finished product after grouting. Interior design: @catherinedemeurinteriors

23.01.2022 Brickwood Building is supporting this great cause today. It is more than just asking "Are You Ok?" today. Sometimes people are not ready to talk, so follow up and check in. We love this graphic as it gives some handy hints on how to get the conversation started, not just today, but any day.

23.01.2022 We have been asked by a few people to post photos of this beautiful bathroom tile once grouted. So here it is folks, salmon pink in all it's glory.

21.01.2022 Welcome to tiling Tuesday! David is setting out our beautiful glass mosaic floor tiles at our Lugarno project. #glassmosaic #lugarnoreno #bathroomreno @ Lugarno, New South Wales

17.01.2022 So blessed to be surrounded by AMAZING men. May you be them and raise them. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to my hubby James, our Dad's, Jim and David, as well as our son Daniel. What wonderful Dads they are. Also a big shout out to our awesome team Tony and Adam and all our fabulous family, contractors and clients who have the privilege to be called 'Dad'.

17.01.2022 Large first floor verandah renovation at Oatley. Stone tile with glass handrails and BBQ reinstalled. This one is definitely ready for socially distanced spring time fun.

16.01.2022 This open plan kitchen is part of a large extension and renovation to a heritage affected property in Oatley - "Holtcraig1896" which we completed a few years ago. The modern clean lines in the kitchen are balanced with the rawness of 240mm recycled ironbark timber from Sydney Wharves which ran through the modern extension into the original house to create cohesiveness between the eras. 15.01.2022 Flashback Friday. Stumbled across this photo circa 2008 with Tony and a young Jordan, some 12 years before he started his apprenticeship with us.

12.01.2022 Buy a daffodil today or make a donation if you can. Unfortunately, cancer is no stranger to Team Brickwood and we hope that with research and support services, it will lighten the load of our loved ones. As Mother Theresa said "The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway"

12.01.2022 More storage? Yes please! Hidden kickboard drawers in the kitchen provide a clever storage solution for baking and pizza trays in what would otherwise be dead space under the cabinetry. Great design and installation by Style and Design, Rizzo Interiors and Brickwood Building. To read more about this project go to https://buff.ly/3hrXVIN

11.01.2022 Designing your dream home? Check out this style quiz by PGH Bricks & Pavers we stumbled across. It is worth pointing out that this is a 2019 quiz, but hey, nothing new has happened in 2020 anyway. PS AMB took the quiz and got Fresh Naturals - tranquil and authentic. SPOT ON - well maybe not so tranquil... https://buff.ly/3aXfX4i

10.01.2022 Which switch? Planning for downlights, pendant lights, task lighting, underfloor heating, exhaust fans, ceiling fans, power points, data points and 2 way switches happens early in the build. We walk through the electrical plan with our clients once frames are up to give an idea of the functionality of the space. As a custom home builder, the selection of appliances and location of media and charging stations is discussed in detail to make sure the end product specifically f...its the family's needs. So much sits behind the walls. #electricalplan #lightswitch #lightingplan #oatleybuilder #sydneybuilder #renovation

09.01.2022 These floors at our Oatley project make a real statement. Kitchen should be installed next week, very exciting for our clients @apollo_floors #blackbutt #polishedfloorboards #floorboards #brownjapanstain #blackjapanstain @ Oatley, New South Wales, Australia

07.01.2022 Check out our boys Adam and Jordan, checking out the new sliding doors at our rear addition at Penshurst.

06.01.2022 Today is Jersey Day!

06.01.2022 This property at Oatley only had access to the downstairs deck via bedrooms with no access to the backyard. With a couple internal tweaks, the new deck featuring double doors with Aneeta sashless windows allows access through the living area to the backyard and fabulous pool. This one will be ready in time for springtime fun.

06.01.2022 The guys at @crystalpoolsaustralia pulled out a big day yesterday to complete the pour at our Penshurst project before the big wet arrives. Well done to all. #penshurstreno #penshurstbuilder #newpool #concretepool #summeriscoming

04.01.2022 Windows are in and cladding has started at our Penshurst project. 1st: Adam and Jordan checking out the new Expo Aluminium Magnum range sliding doors. 2nd: Weatherboard, weathergroove 150 smooth cladding.

03.01.2022 Sometimes all you want is an internal laundry. This beautiful little side addition at Oatley gave these owners a much needed 'internal' space. Thanks Beck & Rod, laundry day will never be the same again.

02.01.2022 White in all it's glory. We love the clean lines and v-groove panelled ceiling which has been picked up on the exterior stair wall too. Brickwood Building project completed at Lugarno. Stairs: The Staircase Factory. Interior Design: Style and Design.

01.01.2022 When the rain finally arrives, the drought and fires drift to a distant memory for those of us lucky enough not to have been affected directly. While our lawns and plants are looking good for now, we know the next dry spell is never far away. Rain water tanks, like these from www.sydneytanks.com, come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours to suit a variety of spaces in and around your home. This slimline tank installed at our Riverwood Duplex project looks great, is functional, satisfies BASIX requirements and also does not impede access to the rear yard. We call that a win-win-win-win :))
