16.01.2022 Let's talk self sabotage- one of my favourite subjects. And why we hold ourselves back even though we know that we would be really good at it.... A technique that I personally use is journaling. Now even when I first heard the techniques I thought it sounded really strange. However, when we sit down and write to ourselves, in asking questions. It is amazing at what beliefs or thoughts actually come up. So wherever you are not moving forward ask questions related to this. Lets say that you want to start your fitness journey or you want to make the time for you everyday to start writing a book. Then write down something like " I don’t want to work on this because... and see what comes up for you. If you have already begun on a set path or goal and find yourself procrastinating. Then ask your yourself something like, I stop myself working on this goal because... Write your questions in a way that feel good and true to you. There is no write or wrong way and we are all on our own path so never judge yourself compared to others. It took me years to overcome my feelings of "not feeling good enough". But stick with it and prove to yourself that you are. Remember that you have nothing to prove to anyone at all. This is all just a journey so have fun with it. So get out your journal as start asking yourself some bigger questions to find out what is really holding you back. Once you figure out what thought patterns are hold your back then you can start making some real and lasting changes. Finding our exactly what is going though your own head is the first and best place to start.

13.01.2022 Do what makes you happy... How often do we have someone tell us this, or we hear of it? And yet so many of us don’t actually do the one thing that makes us feel truly happy inside. ... Are you even aware of the one thing or maybe more than one, that makes you feel happy and truly satisfied? For myself that one thing is writing. I love to write and blog and creating new posts on one of my websites. I hear so often I don’t have the time to do what I want to do. And yet even when my youngest was 6 months old and I had 6 children (blended family) I still found the time to write. I made no excuses. I literally made the time to write because I absolutely loved writing. It made me feel complete and satisfied. It filled my heart and soul with inner Bliss. As a busy parent I made the time to create when the children were sleeping. No matter how tired I was, I would put all the children to sleep. Then I would write on my laptop from one to four hours. Sometimes only one page, however it didn’t matter as I was feeling happier and satisfied that I was following my bliss and listening to my true self. So what is that one thing that makes you feel truly happy? What is it that fills your heart and soul with Bliss? When was the last time that you made the time to follow your dreams and your passion? 13.01.2022 Set alarms to create new habits. Yes this one I have been using for a few years now. I have used alarms to remind me to work on projects, to remind me to drink enough water. Plus I have reminders on my phone of what I am going to eat at what time. Some may say going a bit far but I call it dedicated to creating change within myself. ... You see when we do the same thing over and over it becomes a ground in habit. So set alarms and repeat the cycle until it becomes your "New Normal". What is something that would benefit you to change? We all have something

12.01.2022 The only purpose of life is Self-Growth. What have you learnt? What else do you have to learn?... It is as simple as that. If only it was that simple lol The quickest and easiest way to growth is to ask your inner self. What do I need to know? Or How can I help my future self today? Your inner self always knows the answer. Listen to her. She always knows best xx

11.01.2022 As a mum of a big blended family, I am no stranger to feeling unappreciated. I’m sure that as parents you can totally understand also. I’ve learnt so much from having children. Unfortunately one of the downsides of being a parent is that we don’t exactly have a cheer leader on the side saying good job mum. Or you did a great job today!... One of my lessons and one of which I attempt to drill into all the children. Is that, it does not matter what others think of us. What does matter is what we think of ourselves. That we are proud of ourselves! As a parent we spend the majority of our days without a genuine thank you. Luckily for myself, having been through teenagers. I’m aware that when they come out the other end and when they also have children. That they will eventually thank us for all they put us through. Also, well hopefully they will thank you for doing such a good job at raising them. Believe me. I have lived in that moment with my step daughter who I raised as my own. That moment when they genuinely thank you is totally worth all the tears that children put us through. What does get you through, and what gets us through all our hard times with our children and families. Is the self praise that we give ourselves. As parents we have to praise ourselves and be our own cheerleader. Just until the children are old enough to look back and to say. I’m proud of you mum. You are doing a great job!

10.01.2022 My tip for loving life; Do what makes you happy! When was the last time that you took some real quality time out for yourself? Learn to love yourself as much as you do others.

08.01.2022 It took me years to learn how to self praise. In such a busy world, where especially as parents we are almost never praised. We have to learn to tell ourselves hey I’m proud of you. I self talk pretty much every day. I say things like. I’m proud of you or You did a really good job at that. Use whatever works for you.... I also teach the same technique to my children. Just get in to a habit of self praising until you re-learn to honestly be proud of yourself. Yes you may feel a little silly at first but it will grow on you.
