24.01.2022 HELLO food lovers :-) Green Barrow Farm is now coming to Bright's Food Co-op on Thursdays with their freshly picked garden produce :-) Come along and meet Tanya at Dumu Cafe anytime between 12.00 - 3.00 on Thursday afternoons. 11.01.2022 Our Saturday morning shoppers found a special treat this week at Bright Food Co-op. Sourdough Ciabatta lovingly crafted by Bruce. We only had a small supply and it walked out the door! But watch this space. It was great to see our members stop by for some goodies and a chat.

10.01.2022 HELLO BEAUTIFUL CO-OP PEOPLE :-) I am just letting you know that the co-op will not be open for business tomorrow morning. Saturday's are run solely by volunteers and unfortunately, at this early stage of operation having only a handful of people trained in running the co-op, we are limited to these individuals availabilities. We apologise for any inconvenience but at the same time we would like to invite any of our members who would like to learn how to run the co-op to se...nd us a message showing their interest. There are nearly 100 of you out there in the community who are members, so we should be able to share the load quite easily now that we are getting more organised. We will have a training day with those who contact us either via messenger or email. I would envisage that we will have the first of a number of training days on Saturday the 9th of January. If you are free on this date we would be very keen to hear from you. On another note Dumu Balcony Cafe will be closed for the Christmas period from 3pm on the 24th of December and will re-open on the 4th of January at 9am. So if you've got some shopping to do you have till next Thursday :-) Finally on behalf of the Bright Food Co-op I would like to wish everyone in our community a joy filled, mindful and peaceful Christmas period :-)

We offer delicious bulk food - lentils, flour, rice, oats, nuts, dried fruit, pumpkin seeds, shredded coconut, chia seeds, buckwheat kernels, almond meal and more!
