25.01.2022 Dave had some help repairing fences today. Bonnie & Max were eager to offer assistance.

25.01.2022 A lovely morning after yesterday’s drizzle

25.01.2022 A nice way to cool down. A little trail ride after arena work with our escort Bella.

24.01.2022 And just like that it was over. 15mins if we were lucky. 15ml in the rain gauge. It was most likely more as the rain was sideways.

23.01.2022 Perfect morning for a ride before work.

22.01.2022 Fencing today in between showers.

21.01.2022 A man and his dog, working on the property before the heat! The jobs never stop

20.01.2022 A new toy arrived today.......a lovely new arena rake. It just took a bit of time for the driver to get unstuck in the gateway. He has the honour of being the first person to get stuck in the gateway... we’ve had much bigger trucks than him, in and out of the driveway. 19.01.2022 Welcome Brigadier!! He has virtually not lifted his head all day with the knee high grass. Anyone wishing to help Brigadier eat the grass. We have 1 spot left.

19.01.2022 More hot day pics because fb won’t let me post video and pics together

19.01.2022 My Melbourne Cup ride!!

19.01.2022 309ml at 11.15 this morning. It still hasn’t stopped so who knows what we are up to.

17.01.2022 Now a little later, it’s almost reached the house as the sun goes down.

17.01.2022 87ml & still counting since yesterday afternoon.

16.01.2022 16 frolicking Deer on the arena this morning

16.01.2022 Evening with a beautiful sunset

14.01.2022 It’s a teeth day today.

13.01.2022 Help......... send a search party! The mower died 4 weeks ago (the Dr assures me the part has now come in and will have it back up and running before Christmas). With this good soaking rain, the grass will be totally out of control and we’ll need a rescue party to get us out.

13.01.2022 Another beautiful morning! David Withers Lorraine Smith

12.01.2022 New paddock today. I don’t think they like it.

12.01.2022 Lucky we sneak in as Hunter!

11.01.2022 Amazing sight this afternoon. The sun hasn’t yet set, but in a 10 min period we are watching the fog make its way up the Ridge. Our back verandah is the best place to sit and watch nature at its best.

09.01.2022 A beautiful sunset accompanied by the sound of kookaburras

08.01.2022 Not a good way to start the day this morning....... this huge monster crawled out of Blossom's rug I was about to put on her. That means I carried the rug in my arms!!!!

07.01.2022 It’s wonderful to see green again. Now we have more than I can mow!

07.01.2022 I know the feeling!!!

05.01.2022 83ml rain between 5pm - 10am. That’s on top of the 38.5ml over the weekend and it’s still pouring. I’m so glad we don’t flood here. It’s a shame our dam isn’t deeper as most of the water will wash away. . Twice now we have organised an excavator when it was on empty only to have it rain the day prior to work starting.

03.01.2022 It’s a bumper year for the Agapanthus around the arena. I have more flowers this year than other years. I’ve lost the odd bud to Crispy eating them, but thankfully the Deer have left them alone this year.

02.01.2022 A freshly groomed arena thanks to Peter Rocca. Can’t wait to have the first ride this morning.
