25.01.2022 Hi! If you're new here (or just keen to figure out who I am) here are 5 quirky facts about me: 1. I used to be a rhythmic gymnast - pretty funny as I'm terrible at catching. 2. I held the 100m record at my high school for 5 years (running barefoot).... 3. On average I try to read a book a week. I prefer fiction over non-fiction. 4. There are more bikes than people in my household. 5. I can speak 2 languages as I spent my first 5 years living in Hong Kong. What about you? What's your one quirky fact? See more

22.01.2022 I really love vintage clothing - but I don't love digging through dusty and smelly op shops to find that one-of-a-kind treasure. Which is why I was excited to discover @oncemorewithfeelingvintage and chatting to the owner Jo-Anne Armstrong as part of @cityofmaribyrnong's #LoveYourLocalMari marketing campaign to promote local traders. To Jo, Once More With Feeling is not just a shop selling secondhand clothes and accessories. It’s a place where clothing can tell a sto...ry about a life well lived, family relationships and the timelines of fashion. How wonderful is that? 20.01.2022 Are you buying flowers this Valentine's Day? Meet Jane Hearn, who weaves her floral magic inside her pink-hued shop at @lilacandthecat. In a city filled with *thousands* of florists, what sets Lilac and the Cat apart is Jane’s commitment to sustainability.... That means Jane uses locally-grown, seasonal blooms and no imported flowers and maybe even foraged wildflowers and foliage sourced from a friendly neighbour’s backyard. Plus she doesn't use typical floristry materials such as floral foam oasis, cellophane and ribbon. I love that Jane is passionate about being an eco-conscious and ethical florist and I interviewed her as part of @cityofmaribyrnong's #LoveYourLocal marketing campaign to promote local traders. Even better, I introduced her to the owners of nearby cafe @migrantcoffee and they've set up a barter system to exchange flowers for bagels! Now that's a great example of community supporting community! 11.01.2022 This is where I’m working from while my home office is being bombarded by noisy construction work! I’m finding it surprisingly enjoyable to work away from home and around other people
