23.01.2022 It was Founder's Day with a different format this year but nonetheless lots of fun and definitely worth the effort to raise money for the Year 12 Charity Feel the Magic. Some highlights of the day were the Liturgy, Talent Quest with a special staff performance, a delicious lunch prepared by the Hospitality girls and a virtual Escape Room experience. #FeelTheMagic

22.01.2022 The rain may have prevented our picnic on the Principal's Lawn but it was all smiles in the hall for the Student Leadership Handover lunch today. Thank you Year 11 Hospitality girls, the lunch was delicious!

21.01.2022 Our Year 10 Food Technology girls amazed us this week by designing and then producing a 'special occasion' cake.The girls baked their cakes at home and then iced and decorated them during an in-school workshop. All staff and students were invited to judge the cakes during lunchtime on Thursday. Well done Year 10, they certainly are amazing cakes! #BrigidineTAS

18.01.2022 The Brigidine Flash Fiction Challenge is now on! We popped into a Year 8 classroom today to check out the girls progress in this competition. The girls are challenged to create a short story of no more than 1000 words from a determined list of genre, objects and locations. We look forward to reading your stories girls and good luck!

15.01.2022 This week we enjoyed a special Music Leavers farewell assembly. At this assembly we acknowledged the journey of the Year 12 music girls who have given so much to the College ensembles and music groups over the years. The cupcakes at the end were of course a highlight! #BrigidineMusic

15.01.2022 Did you know there are 116,000 people experiencing homelessness on any given night? This week is Homelessness Week and here at the College our Year 11 girls, with the support of other year groups, are supporting Dignity, a charity that works towards creating comfort for people experiencing homelessness in NSW. Our girls are cooking, packing and supplying as many meals as we can and hoping to create 250 baby packs for those who may need to leave a home situation very quickly. Today alone our girls bought in and packed over 350 meals, a great start to the week! We are very proud of all our girls. #HomelessnessWeek2020 #HW2020 #Dignity #DignityDishes

10.01.2022 This week our Year 8 girls participated in a game call Peteca. Peteca is a traditional sport in Brazil, played with a hand shuttlecock. The object of the game is to hit the shuttlecock (the peteca) with your hand over a high net, similar to volleyball.

08.01.2022 Last week our Year 11 Hospitality students attend a coffee school course at Barista Basics Coffee Academy. At the course our girls learnt how to pour the perfect shot, texture milk and finish with coffee art. The College staff and students will reap the benefit of this with our before-school breakfast cafe which is open each Wednesday morning! #BrigidineHospitality #BaristaBasics

Last week we caught up with Ash Fong (Class of 2009), Jordyn Chue (Class of 2014), Sarah Corfield (Class of 2016) and Francesca Rowlinson (Class of 2016) at the North Shore United netball grand final. Not only did North Shore United win the game but Ash was awarded Most Valuable Player too. 06.01.2022 Thank you to our Hospitality girls who provided us with breakfast this morning. The breakfast service included hot beverages and raisin toast with all profits going to the Year 12 charity Feel the Magic. The girls will be back again next Wednesday morning with hot cinnamon donuts!

02.01.2022 Flashback to 1989 In the College archives we found a Canteen list from 1989. This list certainly highlights how our food choices have changed over the years. Is it only the meat pie that has stood the test of time at the College canteen? Nowadays our girls enjoy a wide variety of food choices at our canteen such as Butter Chicken, Dumplings and Tortellini which is a far cry from the devon sandwiches of 1989! ... #CollegeCanteen
