Competitions will be played on Monday and Tuesday night respectively at Calwell, all the info is on our website under Summer at www.bbfc.org.au. 24.01.2022 And just like that we close out the 2020 season with a great come from behind 2-2 draw from our State League Women against the undefeated Canberra City. Thank you to everyone involved in both pre seasons and the shortened competition. We still have presentations to be made in the coming weeks however on behalf of the Committee we hope to see all your smiling faces back in season 2021. In the meantime there will be our summer programs and competitions as well as our academies... to keep you all kicking a ball so please keep an eye out for these opportunities. Our Summer 9s and 6s competitions will be advertised early this week. Thank you again to all players, parents, volunteers and sponsors.

18.01.2022 Well done to our First Grade and u23s who finished off their regular season with entertaining wins over Queanbeyan City FC - 3-2 and 8-2 respectively. Congrats to our NYL 18s also getting up 3-1 over Canberra Croatia FC in a great game at home. Strong efforts and highlights from our 13s, 14s and 16s with their narrow losses to Belconnen United FC.

15.01.2022 BBFC would like to congratulate Josie Dubbert on her recent signing with NSW WNPL1 Club APIA Leichhardt FC. After attending BBFC’s session in Sydney with the Nick Rizzo International Football Academy, Josie was asked to trial for the 2021 season in which she was successful. This result is testament to the hard work she has put in both on and off the pitch as well as her great character in taking on the challenges put in front of her. Josie was also part of the 2018-19 Unde...r 16 Young Matilda Squad and the 2018 and 2019 Capital Football National Talent Championship Teams whilst playing 68 NPL Youth games for our Club. This is a fantastic opportunity and, as a Club, we would like to wish Josie all the best for 2021 and beyond.

14.01.2022 U12 Div 1 action for our Brindabella Blues Football Club (BBFC) against the Majura Football Club at Dickson. A thrilling game with BBFC down 3 goals to 0 in the first 10 minutes, however we fought hard to come back, unfortunately going down 5 goals to 4!

12.01.2022 BBFC is taking expressions of interest for coaching roles within our NPL program. Season 2021 will be a great opportunity to test yourself in the NPL Division 1 Youth and NPL2 Senior Competitions. 11.01.2022 The Club is excited to announce the appointment of Ray Junna to the NPL program taking on the Under 18s Head Coaching role for 2021. Ray’s previous roles include Westfield W-League Head Coach, Canberra United Youth-League Head Coach and also leading the youth development program at the Central Coast Mariners. The recruitment of such a high calibre coach with his extensive experience at the top level is great news for the youth at BBFC. Ray will also be working with the Clu...b to develop our junior league coaches and players. We would also like to thank Milan Milovanovic for his time with the Club over the past number of years developing our juniors and wish him all the best in his new role with Gold Coast United.

The competition is a great way to stay fit and keep up your skill level going into the 2021 winter season. 08.01.2022 Brindabella Blues FC is happy to announce our accredited coaching staff for the 2021 NPL2/Youth Programs and the upcoming NPL trial dates and programs: First Grade NPL2 - Zoran Glavinic (B License) Under 23s NPL2 - Jacob Biggs Under 18s NPLY Milan Milovanovic (AFC & A License) and Karl Marjoribanks ... Under 16s NPLY Adam Small and Kiki Exposito Under 14s NPLY Lino Fiorese (A License) Under 13s NPLY Michelle Ramirez Under 15/16 Development - Mark Dubbert GK Development - Bobby Dawson The Southern Skills Acquisition Program will begin on 12 October for NPL and aspiring players for a 10 week program. The program will be twice a week for ages 10/11/12s. Training will be provided by our NPL coaches and will feed into the 2021 NPL trial system. NPL Youth trials will be held 9 and 11 November, more information will follow on both programs early next week. Any questions can be directed to [email protected]
