19.01.2022 We are on the road today! We packed the van FULL this morning with over 300 backpacks. Here we come Windsor, Richmond, Lithgow and Bathurst! We will complete four drop offs to organisations and charities who will be distributing the backpacks to those in their community who will be blessed by this gift. ... As I mentioned in an earlier post, due to the overwhelming support and high number of donations, some of these backpacks will be feeding into communities affected by drought or poverty, in addition to going to bushfire affected communities. We thank you for your support in making this decision, and we are so grateful to have the opportunity to make a difference for many kids at the start of the school year. Partner with us in prayer as we travel over the weekend, we will keep you updated. Big love, April and her sister Em (along for the road trip!)

19.01.2022 DISTRIBTUTION PART 2, 3, 4 and 5 Last weekend my sister and I made a road trip to distribute a full van load of backpacks. -Hawkesbury's Helping Hands-... HHH has been operating in the Hawkesbury region for over nine years. When the bush fires hit in the Hawkesbury region, HHH were first on the ground to assist in practical ways with food and supplies. They have been assisting in Bilpin and surrounding areas. HHH provide amazing support in their community all year round. Meals, clothing and practical support are just some of the things Linda and her team make available to those who need a helping hand. We dropped off 200 backpacks and extra supplies to HHH. These have been taken to Colo Heights (bushfire affected area), out to drought affe ted communities, and will also be made available to families in need in the area. -Anglicare- Anglicare have stores and centres that are incredible community support hubs for those in need. Anglicare were able to help us support kids who were affected by the bushfires in the Zig Zag railway area. We dropped off 20 backpacks to Richmond and Lithgow. -Lifeline Central West, Bathurst- Steph at Lifeline was an incredible support and champion of this project. Steph organised for her and her team to take car loads of backpacks to distribute on their trips down south to provide relief to schools. We dropped off 100 backpacks to Lifeline. -Bega and Batemans Bay- In addition to these physical drop offs, we also were able to freight 150 backpacks plus extra stationary supplies to Bega, where Bega Baptist Church will distribute backpacks to their local schools and also to Batemans Bay. Thanyou to NPL transport for the generous donation of transport. As a school teacher, it has been a very busy time, starting school and beginning the year. Hence this delayed update! But I am so appreciate of you all and your support to Bring Back Hope. We will share and post photos as we receive news of the backpacks getting t ok kids! (See earlier post for our first distribution to Tradies Gymea, where we sent 300 backpacks to South Coast Schools.) Big love, April x
