15.01.2022 We loved bringing live theatre back to the community on the weekend - and a huge thanks to the close to 3,000 audience members who came out to see our production. By supporting us and our dancers, our audience members also supported critical workers both back of house, front of house, in the theatre restaurants, and our guest artists (local dancers home from overseas contracts). Everyone loved being back in the theatre bringing joy to audiences young and old. BRISBANE POWERHOUSE

15.01.2022 The curtain goes down on another BCYB ballet. Thank you to all our BCYB families from all across AUSTRALIA for your support during this season that was interrupted by COVID, including a lockdown! Amazing that we still pushed forward to give our dancers 8 wonderful performances. BCYB thanks our amazing team who managed not one but 2 seasons within a month of each other to ensure our dancers got back on stage! We do it all again in the winter school holidays at HOTA on the GOLD COAST, THE SNOW QUEEN’.

12.01.2022 Exciting news today! Following the Premier's announcement today easing restrictions on live performance and theatre venues in Queensland we will be able to go to 100% capacity. Our stalls sold out in a week for The Nutcracker, so stay tuned for the release of the rest of the seats in the stalls. All seats are great in this intimate theatre. We will keep you updated. This one hour, one act Nutcracker is a perfect introduction to ballet and the theatre.

01.01.2022 The Powerhouse is looking into the online system glitch when buying multiples of two seats. They have said to try putting two tickets in the basket and then go through to the payment page and click ADD MORE TICKETS. This way (hopefully) you can keep adding. They are trying to solve the problem, but you can ring the box office. The tickets are selling very fast, 50% sold in the first day of sales. So get in quick.
