26.01.2022 I was lucky enough to snap this pelican skimming the water out at Glebe Weir last year and thought I’d have a go at painting the bird. The base layer is done. Now for the spray and reflection in the foreground. Interesting reflective purple mud colour of the water and staying true to it was a bit of a decision. The starting of the splash shows the true depth of colour of the Dawson River. Happy thus far and will post the progression.

02.01.2022 Day 3 complete. To go - 1/2 to full day to finish the body and wings. A further day for the legs, beak, eye and of course the CHIP!
