19.01.2022 State member for Moggill, Dr. Christian Rowan sent through the following summary of Business Support currently available from all levels of government for local businesses in Qld. Hopefully, there will be something added shortly for solo operators, who effectively employ themselves, as they appear to be missing out with these current arrangements.

11.01.2022 30 small business people joined the Chamber online event last night. Fantastic discussion about how we are adapting to survive and we were particularly pleased that Federal MP Julian Simmonds was able to join us and very current updates about what is being planned to support businesses in the near future.

09.01.2022 Business and Beers is back! After conducting the last 3 BIWCC Networking Events via Zoom we are glad to be able to go back to face to face events from July 7. There will also be the option to attend this event via Zoom. Tickets for both options are still available so hopefully we'll see you there!

09.01.2022 19 people registered so far for 2nd June Zoom Meeting so we should have over 30 on the hookup. Very keen to hear what everyone has been doing and what other ideas you have for yours and other small businesses.

08.01.2022 It was great to be able to get together this week for our July networking event (even though we had to cap the numbers). Thanks to Ken Allsop and the team from ABS Business Brokers for hosting us in their Milton Office. And look out for the next BIWCC event on the 4th August - it might sell out too!

03.01.2022 Our next online business networking event is on the 2nd June at 4-30pm. Make sure you turn up early as we will be giving everyone the chance to talk about their business in the order that you join the meeting. More details at; https://biwcc.wildapricot.org/event-3845171

02.01.2022 Our first online event was on Tuesday afternoon. We had Christian Rowan MP for Moggill giving us a Government update for the 20 people who attended. We had 38 registered so just over 50% turned up to talk about what is happening in their business and what we can do to help each other.
