24.01.2022 Staff at a U.K. nursing home found a genius way to pass the time: enlist the seniors living there to re-create classic album covers. The Sydmar Lodge Care Home residents have been in lockdown for 4 months now and had to find something creative to do with their time as they couldn't see their family members. See some of the very entertaining album covers the seniors recreated here - http://ed.gr/cn769... These could be some to keep your family from being bored through lockdown!

Walking is a great form of exercise but if you cant manage it why not try chair yoga? What you are doing to stay healthy at home?... 06.01.2022 A total redesign of Aged Care to the benefit of seniors is the best thing to come out of the recent Royal Commission. In February, the commission took a look at funding streams for episodic illness in aged care. The panel discussed whether a separate funding stream would be beneficial for episodic events; including restoring function, providing respite, and delaying or preventing the progression to more intensive forms of care. There's so much change on the horizon and agencies and aged care providers are responding fast. Take time to take it all in at the two-day Brisbane Seniors Expo in October.
