Parawood (hevea brasiliensis), is a light coloured tropical hardwood. This timber is has a very tight grain, is dense and very stable, which makes it perfect for kitchen benchtops. 12.01.2022 Parawood has been very popular lately: it looks great and is a very stable timber, ideal for kitchen benchtops and laundry tops, office and reception desks, restaurant and bar tables and many more applications. It is also very sustainable (plantation tree) and budget friendly. It naturally has a light colour, but can easily be stained any other colour. Here are some customer photos as inspiration:
