This letter is to show our appreciation of all aspects of the Nursing Staff. Their efficiency, expertise, friendliness and their wonderful support in our journey. They have one and all been wonderful. I have spent time in 2 other hospitals and a respite facility this year and really been through t...he mill. I can say truthfully that yours are the best. Congratulations on your choice of well trained, caring staff. The food prepared and presented by the Catering Staff has been a pleasure to eat, and served by a lovely range of happy, friendly staff members. I haven't had the opportunity of spending much time in the Rehabilitation Department. Physio over the first couple of weeks was good. I was really impressed when I did finally reach Rehab to see staff handling so many patients at a time. Their assistance has made me feel confident in walking into whatever the future holds. 01.01.2022 MENTAL HEALTH MONTH | Throughout the month of October we celebrated mental health with a range of activities organised for our patients and staff on the theme 'Tune In'. The month began with an opportunity to 'Tune in to Nature' with an in-house photography competition, followed by the annual Mental Health Art Works! Exhibition at Gosford Regional Gallery and Edogawa Commemorative Garden. Yoga sessions with Well Yoga encouraged our patients to 'Tune in to themselves' through ...gentle yoga and mindfulness, with an Art Therapy group allowing us to 'Tune in and be mindful'. Music Therapy followed by Clay Modelling with Centered Ceramics - Umina also provided an opportunity to take a moment, 'Tune in to our surroundings' and focus on creativity. While the establishment of a kitchen garden allowed us to 'Tune in to the environment'. Thank you to all of our staff and patients for taking part.
