25.01.2022 Rider Spotlight: Cindy Cindy would be a familiar face to many, as a rider for the past four years and a member of the wonderful Team Jenny. We are a real community and family.... Cindy first got involved in the MS Brissie to the Bay through her friends of 16 years, Charlie and Jenny. Over the years, Cindy has formed such close bonds with many of her team members, who she considers family now. We all know someone who has MS somewhere in our lives. I have made some wonderful new friendships over the last 4 years. Cindy is extremely passionate about her ride and making a difference for people living with MS. At the moment, Cindy is hopping onto her bike every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, aiming to ride 80km a week and hit her 300km goal for June (pictured: not even the rain on Sunday 14th June would stop Cindy from logging her kms)! Cindy has had an incredible result with her fundraising, currently at $2800 of her $5000 goal! We are very honoured to name Cindy as one of our MS Legends again this year. Congratulations Cindy on her amazing achievements so far!

He temporarily lost sight in his left eye, which reoccurred for a month after his first attack. ... Since Dads diagnosis, we have discovered a great support network at MS Queensland. We have also had our friends and family reaching out to provide support for us. This is Toms first year riding in the MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride. He is committed to the ride - even if it does look a little different from when he first signed up! I chose to get involved to raise awareness and funds for MS, and my main motivation was just to do it for Dad. Tom has committed to ride 1,000km throughout the month of June. He has been busy training, and even had his racing coach to alter his training plan to accommodate Toms riding challenge. With MS being a cause so close to Toms heart, he initially set an incredible fundraising goal of $3,500 to show support to his father, and other 4,000 Queenslanders living with MS. Tom has since reached his original goal, and has increased his goal to $4,000. He has strong ambitions to stay at the top of the leaderboard!
