Rewarding yourself- When exercising dont reward yourself with food or use it as an excuse to eat more. Try rewarding yourself with new gym clothes or something you enjoy. Realistic- Being realistic with knowing carbs aren't the enemy and calories, everything in preportion and under professional advisement with what you can consume and when it is ok to have a treat. ... Long term- To be able to keep to a diet and maintain it, to change your life is not cutting out everything you love, getting advice and knowing when you can have these goodies. 17.01.2022 Weight training! Where to start... They're are a lot of aspects to consider when weight training weather it be -Body weight-Machines-Free weights- Lets start at the beginning.... When you start training its important to know know what muscles you are focusing on contracting during the exercise, Keeping good posture shoulders back, slight arch in the lumbar spine (lower back) and keeping good technique dont forget to focus on breathing. Flexion- this is when you are contracting the muscle Extension- when releasing and stretching the muscle back out. I find it helpfull to say "stretch stretch stretch" when releasing so im keeping control of the muscle on the release. If you have any questions I am happy to help!

Your basal metabolic rate is how many calories your body b...urns in a day without you expelling any further energy. So for example when you are asleep your body is still burning calories to function. And we will then calculate your daily life activities to how many calories you are burning a day. This is important to know as a lot of people when trying to loose weight they eat healthy and exercise but have no idea how many calories they are putting in there mouth to how much they are expelling in a single day. In your first introductory session I will amongst other assessments calculate your "Basal Metabolic Rate" for you so we can have a plan and acheive it!
