25.01.2022 80 parkrunners / walkers enjoyed slightly breezy conditions this morning. Visitors were welcomed from England, Christchurch NZ, Victoria, Paradise Point with many local regular parkrunners. There were 19 First timers and 10 recorded personal Bests, Representatives from 9 different clubs took part. Congratulations to all runners recording PB's, during a solid training schedule.... The event was made possible by 10 Volunteers, Natalie, Rob, Toni, Trent, Steve, Christine, Paul, Linda, Michael & Nigel.

We had visitors from Toowoomba, Brisbane with one running competing in his 376 parkrun , Broadbeach was his 50 different parkrun venue in Australia. This morning 88 parkrunners walked, jogged raced our course, there were significant mile stones achieved this morning, Anne K pushed a pram around to celebrated her 100 pr, Father and Son combination, Lynton and Trent Crabbe celebrated their 50 BBWPR together. There were many first timers, recording personal best times. Visitors were welcomed from Tasmania, Victoria, Brisbane, Toowoomba and with many local Gold Coast participants from other parkruns running off their festive cheer.
