Working in partnership with Kangaroo Island Council, Ten Rivers is using evidence-based analysis to develop a robust bushfire management strategy. 22.01.2022 When Broadspectrum (now part of Ventia) was given the task of managing Victorias Western Roads Upgrade network for the next 20 years, sustainability and innovation were front of mind. The Western Roads Upgrade program includes eight roads upgrades, road widening works, intersection upgrades, almost 30 kilometres of road duplication works and 260 kilometres of road rehabilitation and maintenance delivered by the Netflow JV, for Major Road Projects Victoria. 17.01.2022 Easternwell, a Broadspectrum subsidiary, has signed a contract with Newcrest Mining, one of the worlds largest underground gold mining companies, to provide drilling services at their Cadia Valley mine in NSW. The contract involves Easternwells Rig 103 drilling four directional wells to depths of 1,550 meters. 12.01.2022 MTC-Broadspectrum has donated 16 kilograms of fresh produce to Foodbank NSW & ACT under an ongoing partnership to help feed vulnerable Australians. The produce was grown in Parklea Correctional Centres horticultural industry by a team of inmates who are learning horticultural trade skills as part of structured rehabilitation and reintegration plans. 06.01.2022 Parklea Correctional Centre has praised mailroom staff and officers following the discovery of contraband in an inmates mail. Yesterday, 23 July, mailroom staff observed suspicious features of mail sent to an inmate and alerted Intelligence officers, who located 26 suboxone strips concealed between pages of paper that had been glued together. Our staff are remaining vigilant and stopping contraband, in the face of the ever-evolving and varied methods inmates use to try to ...access drugs and other contraband items, said Parklea Correctional Centre Governor Paul Baker. Congratulations to the team yesterday on this job well done. MTC-Broadspectrum has zero tolerance for contraband and any other items that threaten the safety and security of the centre.
