We are still offering a free delivery service for valid PBS prescriptions. We also have an after-hours counter (contact-free option!) available outside for patients who wish to avoid coming in-store. 12.01.2022 It's not easy being green (but somebody's gotta do it!) Every year, thousands of pieces of packaging end up in landlls across Australia. ... Broadwater Pharmacy is proud to be a TerraCycle Community Collection Hub. What does this mean? This allows us to act as a collection point for consumers to recycle certain types of packaging and prevent them from ending up in landll. Every item of packaging we recycle can be redeemed for a $$ donation to a local school or charity. If you have any suggestions, please let us know! We are currently participating in - Dish and Air Care Packaging Recycling - Razor Recycling - Oral Care Recycling We can accept ANY brand in-store, so start collecting! 09.01.2022 FLU BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN Annual vaccination is the most important measure to prevent influenza and its complications. It is recommended for all people aged 6 months and over (unless contraindicated). While the flu vaccine won’t protect against COVID-19, it will help reduce the severity and spread of influenza, which can lower a person’s immunity and make them more susceptible to other illnesses.... We have pharmacists who are trained to administer the flu vaccination in-store, without you having to attend your GP practice. Please 'BOOK NOW' on our Facebook page, or call us on 5537 1097 to secure your spot. Places are limited due to high demand, so get in quick. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING ADVICE: In 2020, free influenza vaccines funded through the National Immunisation Program are available to the following groups. - All people aged 6 months to less than 5 years (this cohort is newly eligible in 2020) - All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over - Pregnant women (during any stage of pregnancy) - All people aged 65 years and over - People aged 6 months and over with medical conditions which increase the risk of influenza disease complications. If you fall into any of the above categories, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR GP to find out when they are receiving their stock.
