16.01.2022 In my opinion yes I think this would be a highly beneficial thing to happen in the wimmera region. My reason being the Ballarat mental health acute inpatient facility only has 23 beds most of them are full 24/7. this Amalgamation could and should bring an acute inpatient facility to the wimmera region. Horsham psych services already do a mountain of work but more help is needed for less wait times to see psychiatrists and Counsellors... Horsham in 2020 has a population of 18,688 people it’s time to make things happen
